{"id":1286,"date":"2025-06-09T00:00:05","date_gmt":"2025-06-08T15:00:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/intnrms-malawi.org\/en\/?p=1286"},"modified":"2025-12-09T23:16:01","modified_gmt":"2025-12-09T14:16:01","slug":"2025-06-09","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/intnrms-malawi.org\/en\/2025\/06\/09\/2025-06-09\/","title":{"rendered":"June 2025\u3000Long-term expert\u3000Yasuko Kusakari\u3000Returns to Japan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ms. Kusakari, who was stationed in Malawi as a long-term expert from June 5th, 2021, to June 5th, 2025, has returned to Japan.<br \/>\nThe international collaborative research project by JICA, which had been delayed due to the spread of COVID-19, has officially begun, and she finally arrived in Chembe Village, the research site, on June 6, 2021.<br \/>\nFor the next four years, as a resident researcher, she acted as a &#8220;two-way knowledge translator&#8221; promoting knowledge sharing between Japanese and Malawian research members and local innovators.<br \/>\nShe collaborated with all research groups and built trusting relationships with diverse stakeholders both within and outside the community.
